This is the Le Roi 37 Pen Kit. It is unique that it sports a 3/8th (9.5mm) tube that allows you to leave more ‘meat’ on the barrel. This results in fewer blowouts as you turn near the bushings and great depth for semi-transparent blanks and imbedded castings. 

The finished pen is the same size as the Le Roi Elegant, (but of course has a different look). These are very high-quality component sets with excellent fit and finish and a finial twist.   They do require their own bushings.  If you work with sensitive woods or man-made materials and are having some problems with blowouts, you’ll want to try these!
