Live Center Mandrel
Use the Live Center Mandrel with your 60-degree live center when attaching a decorative loop kit to your handles. It is essential to utilize the Live Center Mandrel to turn the handle all at once. I strongly advise drilling the hole for the decorative loop while it is on the Stainless Bottle Stopper Universal Mandrel to guarantee that the holes are perfectly aligned.
Precision machined in the USA. and has a 3/8-16 self-tapping thread. Rust protective black oxide coating. Each mandrel features flats for easy installation/removal Unlike some other mandrels, this one runs true to within .002″ of an inch. Free storage case included.
All mandrels are supplied with an optional screw-on/off plastic washer. The washer helps prevent the wood from getting stuck on the mandrel. (The washer should be removed when threading the wood.)
