Most #5 fountain pen kits (Jr Statesman, Jr Retro, some Jr II (Dayacom), and others) will require chasing the threads with a M6.4 x 5 tap. It May not be suitable for all pen kits. (Will is not compatible with Jr rollerballs, or #6 fountain pen nib sections. Many of the newer kits (Jr Anthony, Jr Aaron, Jr Morgan, etc) will also accept a #5 nib section which you can purchase separately)
This is also the same unit that is used on many higher-end name-brand pens. The Cartridge Rollerball system has a 0.7mm TC ball. and comes complete with a snap cap.
Available in black plastic or chrome-plated metal tipped versions
